Senior Software Engineer - React Native - Consumer - Asian Markets

Role overview

Build consumer mobile experiences for a financial product as a senior React Native engineer. You’ll take features from early problem definition through launch and ongoing improvement, while helping create an app tailored to users in Asian markets.

Responsibilities

- Shape and deliver React Native features across discovery, trading, and other customer journeys. - Work with Product and Design to understand user needs, challenge assumptions, and develop practical solutions. - Build responsive experiences backed by APIs and dynamic or real-time data; make sound decisions about state, rendering, performance, architecture, and reliability. - Use product metrics, experiments, and customer feedback to evaluate launches and guide iteration. - Advise the team on regional user expectations, design conventions, connectivity constraints, and suitable tools or vendors. - Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and shared engineering quality.

Requirements

- Strong React Native experience, including shipping production applications and making architectural decisions in a modern mobile codebase. - Experience building and launching consumer mobile apps for Asian markets, with a clear understanding of regional UX expectations and technical constraints. - Ability to turn ambiguous problems into measurable product outcomes and take ownership through release and iteration. - Experience with API-driven, data-rich applications and close collaboration with Product and Design. - Strong written and spoken English, sound engineering judgment, and comfort adapting across product and technical work. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools while retaining responsibility for code quality and decisions.

Nice to have

Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, payments, or another regulated or data-sensitive consumer product.
