Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient back-end code primarily in Ruby on Rails. - Deliver individual stories, tasks, and end-to-end features against sprint goals. - Pair program with team members to share knowledge and improve code quality. - Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. - Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as product, design, and operations to ship customer-facing functionality. - Provide subject matter expertise and support across the codebase as needs arise.
Requirements
- Track record of shipping small to medium-sized software projects to production. - Proficiency coding in Ruby, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Comfort working in a fast-paced, self-motivated startup-style environment with a drive to change the industry. - Fast learner who can bring prior experience and continue developing on the job. - Location in Central or Eastern US time zones (CST or EST) strongly preferred. - At this time, the employer is unable to sponsor employment visas.
