Network Infrastructure Engineer

Role overview A Network Infrastructure Engineer is needed to run and evolve a production network in a trading-oriented environment where uptime and low latency matter. The role spans Cisco Nexus data-center networking, Palo Alto firewall policy, hybrid cloud connectivity, and infrastructure-as-code automation. It combines day-to-day operational support with architectural input on fault-tolerant, highly available designs.

Responsibilities - Administer and develop Cisco Nexus-based network infrastructure, including VLANs, LACP, vPC, routing, and BGP. - Manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policies, NAT, routing, and Site-to-Site VPN configuration and troubleshooting. - Build and maintain connectivity between data centers, providers, and partners, including cross-connects and remote-hands coordination. - Configure and operate AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute or VPN links, and support connectivity for Windows and Linux servers. - Troubleshoot production incidents spanning latency, packet loss, routing, firewall, VPN, and physical connectivity. - Document, standardize, and automate network configuration using Ansible and Terraform, and participate in designing fault-tolerant architectures.

Requirements - 5+ years of network infrastructure engineering experience in production environments. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, LACP, NAT, ACL, DNS, and routing, plus hands-on BGP experience. - Experience administering Cisco equipment (preferably Nexus) and configuring IPsec Site-to-Site VPNs. - Practical understanding of data-center networking, cross-connects, and AWS or Azure networking. - Hands-on use of Ansible and Terraform for network automation, with Git and CI/CD practices for infrastructure-as-code. - Systematic troubleshooting approach, familiarity with monitoring tools such as SNMP, Syslog, Grafana, or Zabbix, and English proficiency at B1 or higher.

Nice to have - AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute experience. - CCNA, CCNP, or Palo Alto certifications. - Python or PowerShell scripting. - Background in FinTech, trading, or other high-availability environments. - VXLAN/EVPN and advanced Cisco Nexus expertise.
