Role overview An entry-level opportunity for an Associate AI Conversation Designer focused on the German market, helping shape chatbot experiences that support and convert customers worldwide. The designer will collaborate with experienced teammates to write, test, and refine conversational flows that blend AI-driven responses with human expertise. It is a remote position limited to specific US states.
Responsibilities - Design and optimize chatbot flows that engage, support, and convert customers across e-commerce and service journeys. - Write clear, on-brand conversational copy in German that aligns with business goals. - Analyze transcripts and performance data to identify gaps and recommend improvements. - Apply NLP and large language model tools, including prompt engineering, to enhance response quality. - Partner with international and analytics teams to localize experiences and measure impact. - Conduct functional, linguistic, and regression QA on bot interactions.
Requirements - Native-level fluency in German plus strong English communication skills. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in linguistics, cognitive science, HCI, computer science, human-centered design, or a related field. - Up to two years of experience designing or launching chatbot or conversational AI solutions, including via internships, coursework, or research. - Exposure to large language models and prompt engineering techniques. - Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and collaboration skills.
Nice to have - Introductory Python or scripting experience applied to conversational systems. - Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Excel, Power BI, Asana, or LucidChart. - Interest in localization, multilingual experiences, or global markets.
