Role overview
Own meaningful parts of a software product from early planning through release, building both customer-facing features and tools that help teams work more efficiently. Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and maintain user-facing features from initial idea through production. - Work with engineering, product, and design partners to shape, architect, and deliver product changes. - Develop AI agents, backend services, APIs, and web interfaces as needed. - Partner with teams such as finance, customer support, and go-to-market to identify manual work and build tools to streamline it. - Take ownership of a product area, manage priorities, and incorporate feedback from users and colleagues. - Learn unfamiliar tools and technologies when needed to build or improve a solution.
Requirements
- Around 2–4 years of professional full-stack software development experience. - Experience building and maintaining production systems used by real users. - Ability to work across frontend and backend development and take a feature or product area through delivery. - Strong product and design judgment, with attention to the quality and usability of what you build. - Clear communication and collaboration skills, including when requirements are ambiguous. - Self-directed time management and willingness to work with evolving tools, including AI coding assistants and current AI technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience at an early-stage startup or building your own products. - Interest in polished interfaces and interaction design.
