Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview

Help businesses in the portable sanitation sector get up and running on operational software, then turn what you learn from their workflows into product improvements. This senior, customer-facing engineering role spans onboarding, data migration, integrations, and full-stack production work.

Responsibilities

- Lead technical onboarding and migrate customer data from spreadsheets into live accounts. - Build integrations, import tools, and automations to address customer needs. - Investigate and resolve issues across APIs, databases, and the web interface. - Feed field observations into product decisions and roadmap discussions. - Use AI-assisted coding tools while maintaining production quality. - Guide customers through technical issues and operational setup.

Requirements

- At least six years of experience shipping production software. - Strong React and TypeScript skills. - Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including the ability to interpret query plans. - Experience owning CI/CD processes and deployments. - Regular use of agentic coding and prompt engineering tools. - Fluent written and spoken English, confidence working with customers, and availability for EU time zone overlap.
