Senior Data Platform Engineer (m/w/d) | Snowflake

Role overview A permanent, full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer role focused on Snowflake, hiring experienced engineers to design and operate modern data warehouse solutions. The position is open to fully remote work from within Germany, with company hubs located near Munich and Kabelsketal.

Responsibilities - Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using ETL and ELT patterns. - Develop and tune Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures and data models. - Write reliable, production-grade SQL and Python code for data transformations and platform tooling. - Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted datasets. - Support data quality, performance, and reliability practices across the platform.

Requirements - Several years of experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, or senior analytics engineering roles. - Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, SQL, and Python. - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional or modern modeling approaches. - Experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines at scale. - Comfort working in a permanent, full-time setup with a remote-friendly arrangement.

Nice to have - Background operating in hybrid setups spanning both office hubs and fully remote work. - Exposure to analytics engineering workflows alongside traditional data engineering.
