Role overview A senior product manager is needed to lead a strategic enterprise platform initiative focused on giving retail partners more control over their digital storefronts through AI-assisted customization, extensibility, and integrations. The role sits within an enterprise platform team that builds white-label e-commerce products and partners closely with commercial and engineering counterparts. It is a remote position hiring candidates in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities - Own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for letting retailers create differentiated storefront experiences while respecting platform guardrails. - Define the right balance between retailer flexibility and platform coherence, preserving conversion, reliability, and maintainability. - Build AI-assisted tools that dramatically simplify sophisticated customization for retailers and internal teams. - Expand platform extensibility so retailers can support more advanced use cases and integrate with surrounding technology ecosystems. - Serve as a strategic product partner to enterprise retailers, shaping solutions alongside commercial counterparts and multiple R&D teams. - Work across engineering, design, commercial, and other product teams to turn an ambitious vision into a measurable, high-velocity roadmap.
Requirements - 8+ years of B2B product management or comparable experience. - Strong experience operating at the intersection of product and go-to-market, working closely with enterprise sales, marketing, and customer success. - Proven ability to build trust with senior executives both internally and externally. - Demonstrated leadership across multidisciplinary teams spanning product, engineering, data, design, and GTM. - Track record of handling complex, ambiguous product problems across a broad surface area. - Strong product vision and communication skills, including the ability to translate near-term requests into scalable platform offerings. - Comfort with both product intuition and data, balancing qualitative insights with quantitative impact.
Nice to have - Experience with AI-accelerated creation tools, including text or image prompts used to generate or customize UI, content, or code. - 2+ years of involvement in sales, consulting, or senior-executive customer discovery.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role within Canada (Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia). - Market-competitive compensation with base pay ranges of approximately $194,000–$204,500 CAD. - Eligibility for a new hire equity grant plus annual refresh grants, along with additional benefits offerings.
