Senior Product Designer II - Order Quality
Job details
About this role
Role overview A Senior Product Designer II owns Order Quality design work within the Fulfillment team, shaping the moments that decide whether a grocery order goes right from checkout through delivery. The role partners closely with multiple product managers and engineering teams across complex, high-visibility problem spaces on a four-sided marketplace. Work is remote within a Flex First model, with optional in-person gatherings.
Responsibilities - Own Order Quality design initiatives end-to-end, from zero-to-one concept exploration through execution-level delivery across consumer and shopper experiences. - Build deep domain expertise and maintain continuity on previously approved work while absorbing net-new asks from the product team. - Serve as a trusted thought partner to multiple product managers, collaborating on strategy and partnering closely with engineering on thorough, accurate delivery. - Move between high-level strategic conversations with product and design leadership and detailed craft work, including Figma flows, polish passes, and design systems collaboration. - Build cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, research, data science, and brand, representing Order Quality design in critiques and stakeholder presentations. - Apply modern AI tools in daily workflows to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
Requirements - 6+ years designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile, with a portfolio showing complex multi-step journeys and measurable outcomes. - Demonstrated ability to own work end-to-end, from problem framing through high-quality delivery, without delegating either end. - Experience working across multiple complex problem spaces simultaneously with several product and engineering teams. - Strong communication skills with a track record presenting work to cross-functional partners and senior or executive stakeholders. - Fluency in Figma, producing high-fidelity flows, interaction design, and design-system-aligned UI at speed.
Nice to have - Background in e-commerce, grocery, marketplace, or logistics products where fulfillment, order integrity, or transactional trust matter. - Experience designing for multi-sided marketplace platforms balancing consumer, shopper, and stakeholder needs. - Comfort working within and improving established design language systems at scale.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first with Flex First approach and regular in-person community events. - Market-competitive base salary, with US ranges varying by location from roughly $169,000 to $214,000 depending on state. - New hire equity grant plus annual refresh grants and additional benefits.
