About this role
Role overview A consumer technology company is hiring a senior product designer to lead high-impact growth and lifecycle initiatives across web and mobile experiences. The role centers on ambiguous, zero-to-one problem spaces where strong conceptual thinking, visual craft, and interaction design come together to shape how people discover, evaluate, and return to the product. Requirements - 7+ years designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile - Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual, interaction, and product craft, including strong zero-to-one work - Deep interaction design skills, with experience in motion, micro-interactions, prototyping, and product behavior - Ability to operate autonomously on ambiguous problems and carry work from concept through polished execution - Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate rationale and influence partners - Curiosity and fluency with AI-enabled tools and workflows applied to exploration and prototyping
Nice to have - Experience in growth, subscriptions, marketplace, commerce, or other high-scale consumer products - Background working where brand and product experience are deeply connected - Advanced prototyping or motion skills using Figma, Framer, ProtoPie, code, or similar tools - Experience exploring AI-powered product experiences or integrating AI into the design process
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first flexibility with the option to work from home, an office, or other locations, supported by regular in-person team events - Market-competitive compensation with a Canadian base pay range of CAD $171,000–$180,500 - Eligibility for a new-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants - Hiring restricted to candidates based in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia
