Senior / Tech Lead Mobile App Developer (Injective Labs)

Role overview Lead the technical direction and hands-on development of a mobile application for decentralized finance trading. The work focuses on React Native across iOS and Android, translating complex trading capabilities into responsive, dependable experiences. This role combines architecture, implementation, release ownership, and technical guidance for other engineers.

Responsibilities - Own the mobile application’s architecture, performance, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability. - Lead feature work from technical design and implementation through testing, release, monitoring, and iteration. - Build complex features with React Native and TypeScript, and establish sound engineering patterns and standards. - Make architecture and technical decisions that account for product needs, delivery pace, scalability, and technical debt. - Guide engineers through design discussions, code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. - Partner with product, design, and backend teams on requirements, APIs, integrations, and real-time data flows. - Manage mobile releases and application health, including store submissions, issue triage, and production incident investigation.

Requirements - Strong professional experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript. - Experience owning mobile features across design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing support. - Ability to make architectural decisions and improve engineering practices with substantial autonomy. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Clear communication of technical decisions to engineering and non-engineering partners. - Fluent English and location within the EU or New York time zone.

Nice to have - Knowledge of iOS and Android platform behaviors and development practices. - Experience scaling an app with a substantial production user base. - Background in real-time market data, order execution, charting, or performance-sensitive financial interfaces. - Previous technical leadership in a mobile engineering team.
