About this role
Role overview Translate complex customer opportunities into technically sound and commercially competitive solutions, then lead those solutions through safe, on-time, on-budget delivery for engineered electrical equipment serving data centers, utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers. Reporting to the Managing Director, this Vice President role is the bridge between business development, customers, engineering, suppliers, and project delivery. In an early growth phase, it is a hands-on leadership position that builds the processes, partnerships, and delivery organization needed to scale.
Responsibilities - Partner with the Managing Director and Market Development to evaluate and develop qualified customer opportunities. - Lead the development of customer-specific technical and commercial solutions, including technical definition, supplier engagement, cost models, pricing support, scheduling, and execution planning. - Engage suppliers and manufacturing partners to obtain competitive pricing, technical information, lead times, and commercial terms. - Translate customer requirements, specifications, and project constraints into executable solutions while flagging technical, commercial, schedule, and supply-chain risks. - Assume overall delivery responsibility after contract award, leading projects through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance. - Own supply-chain strategy, qualify and manage strategic suppliers and subcontractors, and capture lessons learned to improve estimating and execution.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; MBA a plus. - 10+ years in solutions engineering, project delivery, or program management for complex engineered equipment, electrical infrastructure, energy, or industrial capital projects. - Demonstrated leadership across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction or installation, and commissioning. - Strong grasp of project costing, estimating, margin, cash flow, and commercial risk management. - Experience developing and managing suppliers, subcontractors, and overall supply-chain strategy. - Track record working with EPCs, utilities, data centers, industrial customers, or other sophisticated capital-project clients, with strong customer-facing communication skills.
