Power Solution Architect - Central Region USA

Role overview

A senior technical architect position focused on designing electrical power delivery systems for industrial, data center, and enterprise customers across the U.S. Central region. The role sits at the intersection of engineering and commercial teams, shaping technical strategy while supporting sales pursuits, and reports to the Power Solutions Architect Manager. It is remote with required regional travel.

Responsibilities

- Partner with regional sales teams to provide technical guidance during business development, proposal efforts, and RFI/RFP responses across thirteen central states. - Interpret customer specifications and steer estimation and design teams toward compliant, cost-effective solutions. - Architect scalable, standards-compliant power systems that meet performance, reliability, and operational targets. - Evaluate components based on technical and commercial criteria and recommend optimizations or alternative approaches. - Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering groups to refine designs using stakeholder feedback. - Serve as a public-facing technical voice at industry events, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to internal training initiatives. - Influence technical and commercial strategy while advocating for technology integration and digital transformation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree or PE license preferred. - 5+ years of experience in power system architecture. - Hands-on background with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment. - Working knowledge of UL and IEEE standards and industry practices. - Experience with microgrid applications. - Prior exposure to power equipment sales or commercial collaboration, plus vendor engagement and innovation leadership. - Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Master's degree or PE license credentials. - Background presenting at industry conferences or technical forums.
