Role overview A technical product manager role focused on anti-fraud and compliance systems that protect cross-border money transfers. The position partners with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions. This is a remote or hybrid opportunity with locations across Eastern Europe and CIS regions.
Responsibilities - Translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions - Define product strategy, write technical specifications, and manage the product roadmap - Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant delivery - Enhance fraud-detection and compliance systems with advanced analytics and machine learning - Drive agile development through user stories, sprint management, and continuous delivery - Support design, development, and delivery of complex backend-intensive systems
Requirements - 7+ years of experience in product management or technical product roles - Experience building products in risk, fraud detection, compliance, or security domains - Strong product discovery and problem framing skills - Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and leading cross-functional Agile teams - Proficiency working with APIs, SQL, data pipelines, and basic technical specifications - English communication skills at C1+ level
Nice to have - Understanding of fraud vectors, mitigation strategies, and frameworks such as KYC, AML, OFAC, and GDPR - Familiarity with regulatory landscapes in fintech, payments, or identity verification - Hands-on familiarity with backend languages such as Go, .NET, or Python - Experience with analytics or product tools such as Looker or Amplitude
