Data Engineer

Role overview A senior contract position focused on the data infrastructure that underpins analytics across the business. The initial engagement runs for three months with a strong likelihood of extension, and the work centers on ingestion pipelines, warehouse operations, and transformation design.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain Python-based data ingestion scripts and CI/CD pipelines - Develop and optimize SQL queries for processing and warehouse management in Snowflake - Shape database architecture decisions to support evolving analytics workloads - Apply data transformation techniques to model, clean, and structure datasets - Collaborate with data and analytics stakeholders to keep infrastructure aligned with business needs

Requirements - Senior-level experience as a data engineer on production data platforms - Strong Python scripting skills, including CI/CD setup for data workflows - Confident SQL skills with hands-on Snowflake warehouse experience - Solid understanding of database architecture and modeling principles - Working knowledge of data transformation patterns and best practices

Nice to have - Experience operating within contract engagements and transitioning into long-term roles
