About this role
Role overview Design the architecture for composable, AI-enabled enterprise applications that connect modern user experiences with distributed services and business data. The work spans full-stack feasibility, cloud and edge execution, API orchestration, and agentic workflows. You will also guide engineering teams with clear architectural decisions and delivery plans.
Responsibilities - Lead architecture for composable applications integrating headless content platforms, digital asset systems, and cloud runtimes. - Design API meshes and streaming flows that connect interfaces, backend services, AI tools, and live data. - Improve runtime performance and resilience through caching, availability planning, disaster recovery, payload handling, and workflow state management. - Guide monorepo structure, service boundaries, specification-led development, and automated delivery pipelines. - Conduct technical reviews and document architecture decisions, design details, and implementation roadmaps.
Requirements - Experience architecting complex, data-intensive systems, distributed services, and composable headless platforms. - Practical familiarity with AI tooling, vector search, or LLM orchestration in software systems. - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, edge or serverless runtimes, and REST or GraphQL API design. - Understanding of asynchronous systems, event queues, stateful routing, and modern frontend hosting. - Experience with monorepos, CI/CD automation, release practices, and specification-led development. - Ability to work through ambiguous requirements, prototype architecture options, and explain trade-offs to technical and executive audiences.
Nice to have - Experience with streaming technologies such as server-sent events or WebSockets, and messaging systems such as Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ. - Familiarity with platforms such as Next.js, Vercel, or comparable modern hosting environments.
