Context Engineer Loes

Role overview Improve the context and supporting systems that shape how a language model responds. You’ll design and evaluate its instructions, information sources, tools, and conversation memory, then use measured results to refine answer quality across Dutch and other languages.

Responsibilities - Write and maintain the model’s instructions and conversational character across languages. - Design how the system searches the web and retrieves information from documents, including which sources contribute to answers. - Describe tools and integrations so the model can select and use them reliably, including in long conversations. - Build evaluation sets, assess responses, and compare performance across models to determine whether changes help. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI research teammates; contribute useful conversation examples to training data.

Requirements - Experience building applications with language models, such as prompt-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, or agents. - Interest in working with Python and evaluating results empirically. - Strong writing skills and sensitivity to both factual correctness and clear, natural language. - Fluency in Dutch and English. - Current residence in the Netherlands.
