About this role
Role overview Contribute to an AI-powered platform that helps anyone turn an idea into a website, online store, or web app. This is an end-to-end product engineering role on an autonomous squad that ships regularly, with broad ownership spanning frontend, backend, and the systems in between. AI agents are part of the daily workflow, accelerating experimentation and unlocking larger problem spaces.
Responsibilities - Build complete features from database to UI, shipping Vue.js 3 components powered by Node.js APIs designed and implemented in-house. - Balance time between crafting intuitive frontends and building robust backend services, growing wherever you apply yourself most. - Debug across the full stack and optimize performance from SQL queries to bundle sizes. - Collaborate with designers on user experience, debate API design with backend engineers, and shape product direction with product managers. - Make technical decisions with mentorship from experienced engineers and gradually take on broader responsibility.
Requirements - 2+ years of full-stack experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript on both frontend and backend. - Frontend experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular plus TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 or SCSS. - Working knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Familiarity with message queueing technologies such as RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or GCP PubSub. - Testing discipline including unit tests and an understanding of end-to-end testing. - Comfort writing SQL and using ORMs, plus experience collaborating through Git with branches, pull requests, and code reviews. - Strong communication skills and a self-driven approach to tackling unfamiliar challenges.
Nice to have - Docker and containerization experience. - Performance optimization on either side of the stack. - Any exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines.
