Role overview

This Implementation Consultant role drives customer onboarding and deployment for a cloud-based financial performance management platform used by enterprise finance and accounting teams. The position blends financial acumen, technical aptitude, and consultative engagement to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions. It sits inside a delivery services function and operates at the intersection of customer success, product best practices, and predictable project outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end implementations of a cloud financial performance management suite, from discovery and design through configuration, testing, validation, and go-live - Partner with finance and accounting stakeholders to map current processes and translate them into effective, scalable platform configurations - Guide customers toward best-practice approaches while constructively challenging requirements that could limit long-term value or scalability - Manage scope, timelines, and risks to deliver predictable, on-time outcomes across concurrent engagements - Run enablement sessions covering training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation handoff for customer and partner audiences - Act as a cross-functional partner to sales, customer success, and product teams, channeling field feedback into product and services improvements

Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or closely related domains - Prior consulting or professional services experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software - Background implementing financial systems, EPM/FPM platforms, or other complex business applications - Strong consultative mindset with the ability to balance customer-specific needs against product best practices - Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and senior customer executives - Comfort delivering a thoughtful, professional pushback when it is necessary to protect the customer's outcomes - Adaptable across diverse customers, industries, and project teams; able to ramp quickly on new technologies in an evolving environment
