Role overview A Senior System Administrator role supporting a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) engagement is open for remote work, with an active Secret clearance required. The position focuses on administering middleware-heavy enterprise applications across large-scale environments, with hands-on responsibility for deployment, tuning, security, and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities - Administer and operate large-scale enterprise applications across multiple operating systems and supporting tooling. - Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot middleware platforms such as JBoss Fusion Middleware in production environments. - Lead application deployment, testing, tuning, and security hardening efforts. - Contribute to at least two large-organization projects responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing enterprise-scale applications. - Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on complex information processing initiatives.
Requirements - Active Secret security clearance. - At least 10 years of specialized experience in information processing, with concentrated hands-on work installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving software issues. - Five years of progressive experience administering middleware solutions, such as JBoss Fusion Middleware. - At least three years of hands-on experience with application deployment, testing, tuning, and security. - Capability to work across various operating systems and additional programming languages. - Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a technical discipline.
