About this role
Role overview This remote position focuses on standing up a structured framework for how software gets developed across an organization, spanning IT, business units, and AI-assisted builders. The role blends curriculum design, governance, and hands-on developer support, building a program from the ground up so developers at every level can build with confidence and in compliance with policy.
Responsibilities - Design and build a tiered developer training program with four cumulative builder levels and trigger-based add-on modules covering AI/LLM usage, sensitive data handling, privileged access, third-party integrations, and business ownership responsibilities. - Document a risk overlay framework that explains, in practitioner-facing language, when each overlay applies and what developers must do differently. - Construct a solution intake and classification workflow that moves a new initiative from idea through tier assignment, overlay application, and approved build path. - Establish an ongoing compliance model that tracks training completion, gates access, and renews attestations over time. - Maintain development tooling standards and a permitted integration catalog as a single reference for approved tools, registries, and external connections. - Serve as the first point of contact for developer process and tooling questions, triaging and resolving issues or routing to the appropriate subject matter experts, and partnering with Security, Architecture, Governance, and Data teams to keep documentation current.
Requirements - 3–5 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, software development, or a closely related field. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies, including SDLC, Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred), package and secrets management, and deployment fundamentals. - Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for audiences ranging from seasoned engineers to first-time business builders. - Experience designing or delivering technical training, documentation, or enablement programs. - Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across management, business partners, technical teams, and external resources.
Nice to have - Hands-on familiarity with AI development tools and platforms such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar assistants. - Comfort managing curriculum, process documentation, a support queue, and compliance tracking simultaneously.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work arrangement. - Salary range of $76,600 to $106,450, commensurate with experience and location.
