Engineering Manager, Destinations

Role overview

A hands-on engineering manager is needed to lead the team responsible for more than 300 third-party integrations that connect customer data to external SaaS systems. The role blends people leadership with direct technical contribution and is central to how marketing and operations customers move their data reliably across the broader software ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow the team that builds and maintains 300+ destination integrations - Triage requests for new integrations and feature work, balancing near-term revenue impact with long-term platform investment - Improve sync performance across diverse APIs, file transfer protocols, and data warehouses through parallelism, batching, and rate-limit handling - Raise the technical bar through code review, mentorship, and architectural decisions - Apply AI-assisted development tools to increase shipping speed and code quality - Collaborate directly with customers and integration partners on new use cases

Requirements

- Experience managing engineers while remaining close to the code - Strong systems thinking and ability to reason from first principles about ambiguous problems - Clear communication and decisive prioritization under competing demands - Passion for mentoring engineers at varying levels of experience - Demonstrated history of delivering customer value quickly
