Role overview This is a fully remote, seasonal contract position on an agent support team that helps insurance agents use a healthcare enrollment platform tied to the Affordable Care Act. The role is call-heavy, focused on troubleshooting, application guidance, and helping agents complete enrollments efficiently. It runs through the end of December 2026, with possible extension into January 2027, and is open only to residents of Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia.
Responsibilities - Spend the day in a call queue, taking inbound calls from insurance agents across the country. - Learn the ACA enrollment process and help agents navigate the platform to enroll their clients. - Troubleshoot platform issues and answer questions about applications and referrals. - Follow support protocols while balancing efficiency and empathy on every call. - Take on related tasks as needed to support the team during open enrollment.
Requirements - Residency in Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia. - Previous customer service experience. - At least three years of combined education, work, or volunteer experience. - Strong collaboration and multitasking skills, with comfort in team settings that encourage open communication and constructive feedback. - A dedicated, quiet, distraction-free remote workspace able to accommodate a desktop monitor and other provided equipment. - Reliable home internet with download speeds above 128 Mbps.
