Integration Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain integrations that connect a software platform with the systems its customers use. You’ll help make integrations a dependable part of the product, from exploring new connections to improving the architecture and developing a catalogue that could support a future marketplace.

Responsibilities - Gather requirements and create proofs of concept for potential integrations. - Build new integrations and improve existing connections. - Support and maintain integrations that customers already rely on. - Extend the interfaces between the platform and integrated systems. - Investigate and improve the overall integration architecture. - Coordinate with product, delivery and commercial colleagues to bring integrations into use.

Requirements - 3–6 years of experience in software or integration engineering, plus a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related field. - Confident use of Java, REST and OpenAPI. - Familiarity with authentication approaches such as OAuth. - Ability to design durable integrations and take ownership through implementation and ongoing support. - Clear communication with both technical and business colleagues. - Fluency in English and Dutch.

Nice to have Experience with Quarkus, Kubernetes, Azure, service mesh, SAML or single sign-on, AI, or compliance technology. An interest in leading a team in the future is also valued.

Benefits and work setup Hybrid work from an office in Ghent. The stated package includes a gross monthly salary range of €3,000–€5,250, a company car or mobility budget, 32 days of annual leave, a laptop and a smartphone. Payroll and freelance arrangements are both considered.
