Technical Delivery & Operations Lead - Sportsbook Engineering

Role overview A senior coordination role focused on improving delivery effectiveness across a Sportsbook Engineering organization. The position partners with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Product, and peer Technology teams to bring structure, visibility, and alignment to technical delivery without owning teams or making technical decisions. It is a hands-on enabling role in an AI-forward, regulated betting environment.

Responsibilities - Coordinate delivery plans across multiple engineering teams into a coherent cross-team view that spans product-driven work and internal technical initiatives. - Maintain the technical roadmap, including architecture evolution, platform improvements, resilience work, and technical debt tracking. - Facilitate planning, alignment, and review sessions with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Product, and adjacent Technology stakeholders. - Surface cross-team risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early, and work with engineering leaders to address slippage and sequencing issues. - Establish and evolve delivery and productivity metrics (throughput, predictability, flow, progress against plan) and prepare consolidated status and health reports. - Drive responsible adoption of AI tooling across planning, reporting, code review, and alert triage, measuring impact on delivery speed, quality, and operational insight.

Requirements - Strong experience in technical delivery coordination, technical program management, or engineering operations within complex technology organizations. - Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering and product teams, working through influence rather than authority. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong analytical and planning skills, including the ability to synthesize delivery, technical, and business data into actionable prioritization recommendations. - Solid experience working in Agile delivery environments with modern engineering teams and tooling such as Jira. - Comfort using AI and AI-powered tools to support analysis, planning, and day-to-day decision-making, with enthusiasm for championing responsible adoption.

Nice to have - Experience operating in a regulated domain where governance and responsible AI use matter. - Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices that feed back into roadmap and delivery decisions.
