About this role

Role overview

This Data Product Manager role is the first dedicated hire of its kind, reporting to the VP of Product and owning the roadmap for data products and infrastructure supporting a PACE-based care program for older adults. The position bridges Product and Data functions, partnering with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders while remaining hands-on with SQL, Git, and the development team to ship data products end-to-end.

Responsibilities

- Run discovery to define the business problem before committing to a build, evaluating priorities against organizational objectives. - Own the full delivery cycle including specs, Jira and sprint process, dashboard design and sign-off, UAT, and rollout. - Perform hands-on data work, using SQL and Git to independently query, validate, and review code. - Triage a steady stream of ad hoc requests, distinguishing quick fixes from roadmap work. - Use AI tools such as Claude to accelerate work and model fluency for the team. - Operate across Platform and Integrations, Clinical and Operational Services, Regulatory and Enterprise Reporting to shape how data product work happens.

Requirements

- 3 to 5+ years of experience in product management, data or BI, or a closely related field with a track record of shipping data products, dashboards, or reporting tools end-to-end. - Solid understanding of healthcare data ontologies, systems, and information technology. - Proficiency in SQL sufficient to independently query, validate, and troubleshoot data. - Demonstrated ability to write clear technical specs including metric definitions, cohort logic, and source-to-target mapping. - Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and end users in operations, compliance, or clinical leadership to gather requirements and lead UAT. - Familiarity with a modern data development stack including Jira, Git, Power BI, and cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Azure. - Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity in requirements writing, documentation, analysis, and workflow automation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and navigate ambiguity.

Benefits and work setup

- Mission-driven healthcare organization supporting older adults through the PACE model, integrating clinical and social care. - Commitment to reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals and inclusive hiring practices.
