Role overview A senior consulting role focused on identity and security operations for enterprise and government clients. The position blends hands-on technical delivery with engagement leadership, helping customers harden identity platforms, modernize SecOps, and address emerging risks around non-human and AI-driven identities.
Responsibilities - Lead identity-focused engagements end to end, from scoping and solutioning through final deliverables and presentations - Assess, design, and improve Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments, including conditional access and identity hardening reviews - Advise on PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and foundational cryptographic controls - Support identity governance, MFA, PAM, PIM, RBAC, and passwordless or FIDO2 initiatives across customer environments - Contribute to SecOps workstreams including SIEM tuning, detection engineering, threat hunting, ITDR, and telemetry coverage - Perform security architecture reviews, produce remediation roadmaps, and mentor junior team members - Participate in presales activities such as scoping calls, statements of work, and technical demonstrations
Requirements - 8+ years in cybersecurity consulting, engineering, or architecture, with a track record of owning project delivery - Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and the broader M365 security stack - Strong command of IAM, PKI, authentication, conditional access, SSO, Zero Trust, and related controls - Experience supporting SecOps functions such as SIEM, SOC operations, ITDR, or threat hunting - Demonstrated leadership, customer-facing communication, and ability to manage parallel engagements - Availability aligned to the Eastern Time Zone
Nice to have - Background in a value-added reseller or professional services environment - Familiarity with enterprise IAM, IGA, or PAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, or Ping - Experience with modern ITDR solutions and non-human identity or agentic identity governance - Cloud security experience in Azure or AWS, plus familiarity with tools like Sentinel, Defender, Purview, or Duo - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SC-300, AZ-500, or SC-100
