About this role

Role overview Join a remote delivery team as an entry-level Security Business Analyst supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) engagements across enterprise clients. The position centers on documentation, coordination, and stakeholder communication for projects built on Ping Identity and Okta, offering hands-on exposure to real-world SSO, MFA, federation, and CIAM implementations. It is a growth-oriented role suited to organized, detail-driven candidates building technical fluency in access management.

Responsibilities - Capture and document business and technical requirements during discovery sessions and workshops, including notes, action items, and decisions - Draft functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and integration documentation for SSO, MFA, and API security work under senior guidance - Maintain requirements traceability matrices and flag gaps, conflicts, and dependencies for review by engagement leads - Track engagement plans, milestones, deliverables, and action items across parallel workstreams and produce status reports and dashboards - Prepare materials for kickoff meetings, status calls, and steering committee updates, and support engagement closeout activities - Document scope change requests and route them through approval workflows while logging risks, issues, and blockers for escalation

Requirements - Foundational analytical skills with strong attention to detail and organizational ability - Demonstrated interest in Identity and Access Management, including SSO, MFA, federation, and CIAM concepts - Ability to participate in client-facing discovery sessions and translate conversations into clear written artifacts - Proficiency producing process flow diagrams and current/future state documentation for authentication workflows - Comfort working across multiple engagements with shifting priorities and coordinating with senior consultants and architects - Eligibility to work remotely within the United States and willingness to travel up to 10% as needed

Nice to have - CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent foundational security certification - CAPM or Scrum fundamentals credential - Okta Certified Professional, either held or in progress - Experience with diagramming tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or draw.io - Prior client-facing or customer service experience
