Junior AI Developer

Role overview Help build a dedicated AI capability within an engineering organization focused on automation and AI-powered delivery. The role targets developers who already work productively with modern AI-assisted development workflows and want to grow into autonomous AI engineers capable of owning full delivery pipelines. Day-to-day work spans internal tooling, client-facing AI features, and rapid prototyping using prompt-driven development paired with AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities - Build internal automation tools and workflows using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot - Develop and ship AI-powered features and full applications for client projects - Prototype rapidly through prompt-driven, AI pair-programming workflows - Integrate LLM APIs from providers like Anthropic and OpenAI, as well as open-source models, into production systems - Deploy and maintain applications on modern platforms including Vercel, Cloudflare, and AWS - Create and manage AI agents, MCP servers, and tool-use pipelines, then evaluate and benchmark models for specific use cases - Document solutions, write technical specs, and contribute to the internal knowledge base

Requirements - 1+ year of hands-on software development experience in commercial or substantial personal projects - Demonstrable proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot - Working knowledge of at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python - Experience deploying web applications on platforms like Vercel or Netlify - Understanding of LLM fundamentals including prompting, context windows, token management, and tool use - Git proficiency, basic CI/CD awareness, and strong written English communication

Nice to have - Experience with AI app builders such as v0, Bolt, Lovable, or Replit Agent - Familiarity with MCP and agentic AI patterns - Contributions to open-source AI tools or published AI-related content - Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or embeddings - Backend experience with Node.js, Next.js, or FastAPI, plus DevOps basics like Docker, serverless functions, and edge computing
