Job details
About this role
Role overview A remote, UK-based Project Manager role responsible for leading the post-sale implementation and delivery of an AI-powered event engagement platform for a portfolio of event-organiser clients. The position spans the full delivery lifecycle, from kickoff and platform setup through go-live, onsite event support, and post-event closeout. It is a highly client-facing role that combines structured project management with hands-on experience of event technology, live events, or similar fast-paced delivery environments.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end delivery for assigned client events, from post-sale handover and kickoff through go-live, onsite delivery where required, and post-event closeout. - Build and maintain clear project plans covering milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, timelines, and client-facing status updates. - Act as the primary operational point of contact during implementation, guiding clients on platform configuration, event setup, data readiness, attendee engagement, matchmaking, and activation strategy. - Run regular client project meetings, capture decisions and actions, and keep both clients and internal stakeholders aligned on progress. - Manage scope against the Statement of Work, flag creep early, and partner with commercial and customer success teams on change requests. - Coordinate cross-functionally with customer success, solutions, integrations, product, support, engineering, sales, and finance to deliver successful events.
Requirements - Demonstrable experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, ideally within event technology, events, hospitality, or a related client-delivery setting. - Strong client-facing communication skills, with the confidence to lead meetings, challenge unclear requirements, set expectations, and handle difficult conversations constructively. - Comfort working with event data, registration platform configuration, integrations, imports, and testing processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams. - Willingness to travel onsite to client events multiple times per quarter, including across North America and internationally as business needs require. - Solid project management discipline across planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and delivery governance.
Nice to have - Prior experience implementing or supporting event technology, SaaS platforms, registration systems, event apps, networking solutions, or related digital-event products. - Familiarity with ETL processes, APIs, CRM systems, or third-party integrations.
