Role overview Lead a client delivery function for a climate-focused SaaS platform that helps energy suppliers and retailers match renewable generation with consumption on an hourly basis. The position sits at the crossroads of commercial, customer success, and product teams, combining hands-on account management with team leadership and operational design for a fast-scaling clean-energy portfolio management product.
Responsibilities - Manage and grow a customer delivery team, including supervision, work allocation, planning rituals, and performance management - Redesign implementation and delivery processes, driving project discipline, streamlined customer integration, and rationalised use cases - Oversee all client delivery activity and report on the health of ongoing projects to senior stakeholders, knowing when to escalate and when to step in directly - Personally run implementation projects for complex accounts, including integration design, data pipeline architecture, and occasional scripting work - Analyse client systems (ETRMs, billing systems, ERPs, CRMs) and data structures to inform robust integration strategies - Identify opportunities to expand platform usage through upsell motions and joint improvement plans with customers
Requirements - Demonstrated experience managing delivery, implementation, or client solutions teams in a SaaS environment - Strong understanding of utility business processes, including front, middle, and back-office functions - Ability to dissect complex client data environments and design elegant integration solutions with attention to detail and rigour - Comfort operating at the intersection of commercial, product, and technical workstreams - Hands-on mindset with willingness to unblock situations directly rather than delegate everything - Background engaging enterprise clients on multi-stakeholder delivery projects
Nice to have - Familiarity with energy trading, portfolio management, or carbon-free energy attribution workflows - Exposure to pre-sales activities such as product demos and prospect advisory
