Role overview
As a senior solutions architect in a professional services team, you’ll help customers adopt and get lasting value from an observability platform. The work combines hands-on technical guidance with customer consulting: understanding each organization’s goals and architecture, then shaping and delivering practical solutions through onboarding, implementation, and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Work with technical teams, project leads, and business stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into clear technical requirements. - Design and guide solutions involving data visualization, workflows, migrations, and large-scale architecture. - Lead customer workshops, document requirements, and recommend approaches that follow sound standards and practices. - Deliver training, kickoff engagements, and tailored consulting; help customers plan and execute projects. - Troubleshoot observability challenges involving areas such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, logs, metrics, and traces. - Track recurring issues and customer needs, and share product feedback with internal teams.
Requirements
- Strong technical consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business audiences. - Experience translating complex business and technology needs into solution designs and actionable plans. - Practical familiarity with observability concepts and tools, including metrics, logs, traces, and Prometheus. - Understanding of container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes, and scalable infrastructure practices. - Ability to manage engagement timelines, unblock teams, and deliver outcomes in a fast-moving environment. - Interest in open-source software and a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving.
