Junior Backend Developer

Role overview Help build the backend for software products that handle business data and use AI services. The work spans Python APIs, data processing, and integrations, with room to own components and develop practical solutions through experimentation.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain backend APIs and services in Python. - Work with databases and structured business data. - Create workflows for data processing and automation. - Integrate external APIs and AI or large language model services. - Implement data upload, validation, and processing features. - Test, debug, and improve backend services over time.

Requirements - Strong Python fundamentals and a sound understanding of backend development. - Projects beyond coursework, such as personal, university, or hobby work developed into a working prototype. - Curiosity and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies independently. - Comfort using LLM tools to research options and support development. - Ability to investigate an unclear problem, compare approaches, prototype, and select a direction. - Willingness to iterate and communicate clearly while taking ownership of tasks.

Nice to have - Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, Redis, or Pandas. - Experience working with AI or LLM APIs.
