Role overview A hybrid opportunity for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer in Test to drive automation strategy across the software delivery lifecycle. The role combines deep technical problem-solving with team leadership, turning acceptance criteria into robust automated suites that ship continuously through CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities - Translate acceptance criteria into technical test design documents and build automation scripts wired into the existing test framework and CI/CD pipelines. - Lead automation initiatives end-to-end, authoring scripts for new and existing test cases and integrating them with the broader automation architecture. - Partner with cross-functional product owners and automation engineers to align scope, priorities, and delivery expectations. - Report progress to project and engineering leadership, keeping work on schedule across the team. - Validate functional requirements and business process flows in test and UAT environments, following established quality assurance standards and procedures.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in software development with proven technical and team leadership. - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and adaptive AI for test automation. - Strong programming background in Java, JavaScript, or Python, plus tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit. - Familiarity with source control in Git, Azure DevOps, Elastic/Kibana, and application performance monitoring. - Solid experience in test planning, scenario and test case design, and Behavior-Driven Development practices.

Nice to have - Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, and S3. - Containerization with Docker or Kubernetes. - Working knowledge of Jira and databases like Oracle or Document DB. - Domain exposure in banking or lending.
