Role overview

A director-level role responsible for shaping pricing and monetization strategy across a multi-product B2B platform that serves agencies, entrepreneurs, and small businesses worldwide. The position reports to the Chief of Staff and has significant exposure to the executive leadership team, operating initially as a hands-on leader.

Responsibilities

- Develop a company-wide pricing and packaging strategy across subscription plans, bundles, add-ons, and usage-based capabilities - Evaluate how the pricing architecture should evolve as new products, segments, and monetization models emerge - Build business cases for pricing changes, including impact on conversion, average revenue per customer, expansion, retention, gross margin, and lifetime value - Establish a cross-functional pricing and monetization governance process with clear decision rights - Lead customer research, segmentation, and willingness-to-pay analysis to inform monetization choices - Present recommendations to senior leaders in a clear, commercially grounded, and decision-oriented manner - Help build the broader pricing, monetization analytics, and customer insights capability over time

Requirements

- 12+ years of experience across SaaS pricing, monetization, product strategy, customer insights, growth strategy, management consulting, or corporate strategy - Significant direct experience leading pricing and packaging decisions for a B2B SaaS, platform, or technology company - Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription economics, usage-based pricing, expansion revenue, retention, and gross margin - Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop scenarios and challenge assumptions - Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, segmentation, conjoint analysis, and behavioral data analysis - Excellent executive communication skills
