Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack, Angular, Java, AWS

Role overview A senior full-stack engineering role building and modernizing products used across the healthcare supply chain. The work spans modern Angular front ends, Java and J2EE back-end services, and AWS-hosted infrastructure, with an emphasis on scalable, secure, and maintainable design. The engineer will lead technical design for complex features while mentoring peers and shaping engineering practice on long-lived systems.

Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, secure, and reusable software components across the full stack. - Build and modernize user-facing applications using modern Angular, TypeScript, and component-based UI architecture. - Lead technical design for complex initiatives, author documentation, and ensure adherence to IT control policies. - Develop and support back-end services and integrations using Java, AWS services, and relational and NoSQL databases. - Diagnose root causes across the stack and recommend solutions that account for upstream and downstream impact. - Promote best practices in development, testing, CI/CD, and Agile workflows, and mentor engineers through pairing and code review. - Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements - 8+ years of professional software development experience with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent. - 5+ years building modern web applications with Angular, including hands-on work with Angular 17 or newer. - Strong TypeScript skills, component-based UI design, reactive patterns, and front-end architecture experience. - Experience designing Java and J2EE back-end services. - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, ECS, and Lambda, plus databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL. - Track record of delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to have - Prior experience contributing to technical architecture on long-lived enterprise codebases.
