About this role
Role overview This executive product role owns the full lifecycle and go-to-market execution for a healthcare supply chain resiliency platform that spans hospital and supplier workflows. The leader will pilot the product with real customers, drive it to general availability, and defend the orchestration category against well-funded AI-native challengers.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end product development from forward-deployed pilot through general availability, across procure-to-pay and order-to-cash tracks. - Design and govern the pilot selection engine, including binary hard gates and a weighted scorecard for ranking candidates. - Make stage-gate decisions at pilot entry, mid-pilot, and exit, including go, kill, or reallocate calls on stalled accounts. - Partner with forward-deployed engineering to scope on-site engagements and turn pilot learnings into a repeatable deployment playbook. - Lead commercial packaging and pricing, including tiered and hybrid subscription plus metered or outcome-based models. - Translate competitive intelligence into positioning that wins head-to-head evaluations against AI-native point solutions. - Mentor product owners and managers supporting the platform and report progress, risks, and decisions to the executive steering committee.
Requirements - At least 10 years of product management experience, including leadership of healthcare-focused initiatives. - Five or more years in healthcare software product management. - Demonstrated success designing or running structured pilot programs and forward-deployed customer engagements. - Experience building or executing usage-based, outcome-based, or hybrid pricing for enterprise software. - Three or more years managing people, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and professional services. - Strong strategic planning, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness to travel roughly 25 to 50 percent, including on-site pilot customer visits.
Benefits and work setup - Executive-level ownership of a flagship platform serving a two-sided network of hundreds of connected healthcare providers and suppliers. - Opportunity to shape category positioning against AI-native competitors in a contested market.
