Staff Corporate Security Engineer

Role overview A staff-level engineering role focused on corporate (internal) security, remote-eligible across Canada and the United States. The work centers on protecting enterprise systems, strengthening detection and response capabilities, and partnering across the organization to reduce security risk in the corporate environment.

Responsibilities - Design and implement controls for corporate IT systems and internal infrastructure - Investigate and respond to security incidents affecting internal environments - Conduct security assessments and recommend mitigations across people, process, and technology - Partner with IT, engineering, and adjacent teams to embed secure practices - Contribute to security tooling, automation, and architectural decisions

Requirements - Extensive experience in corporate or enterprise security engineering - Strong knowledge of endpoint, network, and identity security concepts - Hands-on background with incident response and detection engineering - Familiarity with modern SaaS, cloud, and hybrid workplace environments - Ability to operate independently and influence without direct authority
