Principal Security Researcher

Role overview

A principal-level security research position focused on discovering, analyzing, and communicating meaningful security insights at scale. The role is fully remote and open to candidates located in Canada, Israel, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

Responsibilities

- Lead deep-dive research into vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and emerging threat trends - Design and execute original experiments, proof-of-concept tooling, and technical analyses - Publish findings, advisories, or technical content that raise awareness across the security community - Partner with engineering and product teams to translate research into concrete platform improvements - Mentor other researchers and act as a senior technical voice within the security organization

Requirements

- Extensive track record conducting offensive or defensive security research - Deep familiarity with exploitation techniques, vulnerability classes, and adversary behaviors - Strong programming and scripting skills to build prototypes and analyze complex systems - Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings clearly to engineers, leadership, and external audiences - Self-directed working style suited to a fully remote, globally distributed team
