Role overview
A product management role owning the Peer-to-Peer Events product line within a global fundraising platform serving enterprise nonprofits. The position extends an existing self-serve DIY foundation with structured, time-bound programmes such as walks, runs, rides, climbs, workplace challenges, and recurring event series. The role runs from discovery through launch, early access, and ongoing iteration, partnering closely with engineering, design, analytics, research, and go-to-market teams.
Responsibilities
- Set product thesis and roadmap by synthesising customer research, market evidence, and business context - Decide which capabilities belong in the shared peer-to-peer foundation versus an Events-specific product - Lead discovery through interviews, workflow mapping, prototypes, and live usage with nonprofit customers - Distinguish real adoption blockers from feature requests and incumbents' expectations - Own delivery end-to-end, including requirements, acceptance criteria, trade-offs, and risk surfacing - Launch through Early Access Programmes with clear entry criteria, success measures, and scope boundaries - Tie evidence to adoption, expansion, pipeline, retention, and gross payment volume, and make clear iterate, expand, pivot, or stop decisions
Requirements
- 4-7 years of product management or product ownership experience in a software product company - End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area working with engineering and design - Strong judgement in narrowing a large problem space to a focused release and explaining trade-offs - Experience turning customer evidence and product data into decisions - Clear written communication across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records - Comfort with multi-actor workflows, permissions, states, and data relationships - Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Background in B2B SaaS, fundraising, payments, registration, events, or community products - Experience launching a new product area through beta or Early Access Programmes - Familiarity with CRM integrations, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL
