Role overview
Build and guide cloud-based analytics systems that turn digital behavior into reliable, actionable insight. This contract role covers the full data lifecycle, from event collection and ingestion through warehouse modeling, visualization, lifecycle marketing, and experimentation. The position is remote and open to applicants located anywhere in Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Configure analytics properties and tagging plans across multiple websites and business lines, including standard and custom events, triggers, parameters, and real-time validation. - Design and maintain scalable Google Cloud data environments using BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and related access controls. - Connect analytics exports to cloud warehouses and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and secure data access. - Create semantic models and reusable metrics in Looker/LookML, supporting reporting at global, business-line, and individual-site levels. - Develop ETL and reverse ETL workflows that combine sources such as web analytics and customer-engagement platforms. - Support identity resolution, audience synchronization, lifecycle marketing, discoverability initiatives, and experimentation programs.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience shaping complex, multi-source data into clean analytical models. - Deep practical knowledge of Google Cloud services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. - Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker, and LookML. - Understanding of data lakes, warehouses, orchestration, ETL, reverse ETL, and customer data platform integrations. - Strong data-quality discipline, including event validation, pipeline monitoring, warehouse checks, and documentation. - Ability to work independently with distributed teams and translate analytics needs into durable technical solutions.
