Technical Product Manager III

Role overview Lead the technical product management of a commercial data platform that powers laboratory, R&D, and commercial workflows for an early-cancer-detection diagnostics organization. You will own the roadmap and execution for data products and pipelines, partnering with engineers, lab scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, regulated software.

Responsibilities - Define requirements and manage development of the data platform, pipelines, and tooling that support commercial and R&D initiatives. - Partner with laboratory and business stakeholders to capture requirements, optimize workflows, and align platform work with HIPAA and HITECH expectations. - Translate product needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and track delivery through Jira. - Build and operationalize an integrated technical strategy and roadmap spanning current and future programs. - Drive trade-off decisions across functions, ensuring scalability, accessibility, and end-to-end data integrity. - Facilitate productive engineering-user interactions so that user needs are clearly understood and met.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field; advanced degree preferred. - At least five years of experience in a software development environment, ideally in biotechnology and next-generation sequencing. - Deep expertise in identifying and prioritizing software features. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional trade-off decisions and improve organizational outcomes. - Experience delivering software that meets regulated market standards such as FDA, CAP/CLIA, or equivalent diagnostics requirements.

Nice to have - Background building solutions focused on multiomics, NGS, or proteomics.
