Role overview Serve as a trusted technical partner to strategic enterprise clients, blending hands-on technical acumen with project management and client engagement to drive successful delivery of complex, global software implementations. The role owns end-to-end success for assigned accounts, acting as both technical advisor and delivery lead in a fast-paced SaaS or payments environment.
Responsibilities - Own the full lifecycle of assigned enterprise accounts, serving as the primary technical and strategic point of contact from onboarding through ongoing support. - Act as an internal program manager, driving cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Integrations, QA, and Support. - Lead complex software implementations, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget while translating client needs into actionable internal workstreams. - Run client-facing reviews of delivery progress, usage trends, open items, and optimization opportunities, and produce project documentation including requirements, design specs, release notes, and training materials. - Track milestones, budgets, and expenditures, support timely invoicing, and coordinate with external vendors, partners, and client-side project managers on dependencies. - Liaise between Sales, Product, and Engineering to inform roadmap decisions, escalate and resolve issues with urgency, and contribute to playbooks and repeatable TAM processes.
Requirements - 5+ years in a client-facing technical role such as Technical Account Manager, IT Project Manager, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Manager within SaaS or payments. - Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-touch accounts and delivery streams simultaneously. - Experience with API-based products, system integrations, and enterprise platform configurations. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project, plus hands-on experience with sprint planning and cross-functional coordination. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field; PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred. - Willingness to travel up to 15–20% within the U.S.
Nice to have - Background building or evolving a Technical Account Management function, including playbooks and standard processes.
