About this role
Role overview Own quality assurance for an AI-native pharmacy infrastructure platform that connects prescribers, health systems, and pharmacies. This is a builder role that blends disciplined manual and automated testing with hands-on development of test tooling for non-deterministic AI features.
Responsibilities - Drive end-to-end regression testing and user acceptance testing with external healthcare clients - Design and execute manual test scenarios when automation cannot catch subtle defects - Test AI-powered features where identical inputs may yield varying outputs - Build internal tooling, including test data generators for clinical scenarios and harnesses for evaluating LLM output - Wire Playwright MCP servers and agentic workflows into the existing stack - Write clear documentation so colleagues can pick up and extend test coverage - Collaborate daily with the engineering team that ships the features
Requirements - 3+ years of QA or software testing experience with depth on web applications and APIs - Strong Playwright skills plus sound judgment about when to automate versus when to test by hand - Demonstrated manual testing and UAT experience, including sessions with external clients - Enterprise product experience and an understanding of the stakes when software breaks - Active use of AI tools, or hands-on experience testing AI-driven products - Strong technical foundation, such as a computer science or numerate degree, or a promotion track demonstrating equivalent capability
Nice to have - Healthcare, health-tech, or pharmacy background, including familiarity with HIPAA, PHI handling, and clinical data accuracy
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first across the United States, with a strong preference for East Coast time zones to overlap meaningfully with UK engineering hours - Orlando serves as the US hub, with relocation support available for those interested - Periodic in-person team gatherings expected
