Senior Product Designer

Role overview This role is part of the product design organization at a SaaS company building an AI-powered platform that helps accounting and finance teams streamline the financial close, strengthen compliance, and surface real-time insights. As Senior Product Designer, you will lead end-to-end design for major features in an enterprise environment where complex data, AI agents, and accounting workflows must feel clear and trustworthy.

Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end design strategy for mission-critical feature areas, from conception through launch and post-launch iteration - Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy experiences that lower adoption barriers for accounting teams - Partner with product management, engineering, and leadership to shape product strategy, contributing a deep user-centered perspective - Ensure surfaces are polished, easy to use, and consistent with the enterprise platform and design system standards - Ground decisions in qualitative and quantitative data, including user research, testing, and analytics, advocating for accounting and finance professionals - Execute at velocity in Figma: concept designs, high-fidelity prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering - Act as a design leader within the team, offering mentorship and turning ambiguous problems into opportunities

Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience designing and shipping high-quality, complex SaaS or enterprise products, including 0-1 ownership - Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interaction design, and strategic thinking on data-heavy applications or sophisticated tooling - Expert-level proficiency with Figma, experience contributing to design systems, and regular use of AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery - Familiarity with designing AI-driven features: defining appropriate user controls, managing trust, and translating models into clear user value - Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to product managers, engineers, and executives - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and tackle ambiguous problem spaces
