Job details
About this role
Role overview
Turn go-to-market data into analysis and recommendations that guide decisions across sales, strategy, revenue operations, marketing, and deal-support functions. You will own analytical work from problem definition through delivery, work directly with revenue stakeholders, and help improve the reporting foundation used to understand pipeline, conversion, and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analysis for an assigned go-to-market domain, from clarifying the business question to presenting an actionable recommendation. - Retrieve, transform, analyze, and visualize data using SQL, dbt, and business-intelligence tools. - Investigate the causes of changes in performance metrics, such as quarter-over-quarter shifts in conversion or pipeline progression. - Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve dashboards and recurring reports within the assigned area. - Partner directly with revenue stakeholders on recurring and ad hoc questions, emphasizing decisions and next steps rather than descriptive reporting alone. - Document metric definitions and analytical logic, mentor less-experienced analysts, and use AI assistants to accelerate query development and analysis.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience working with go-to-market or revenue teams. - Strong understanding of SaaS sales processes, opportunity stages, pipeline movement, and CRM data structures. - Proficiency with SQL, dbt, and Looker or comparable business-intelligence platforms such as Sigma or Omni. - Ability to independently obtain, analyze, visualize, and explain business data. - Strong analytical judgment and communication skills, including the ability to translate ambiguous questions into a clear analytical plan. - Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python. - Familiarity with notebook-based exploratory analysis tools, Salesforce, Excel or Google Sheets, and AI-assisted analysis workflows.
