Job details
About this role
Role overview
Lead high-impact GTM analytics for Sales, Strategy, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Deal Desk, and Finance partners. This principal-level role turns ambiguous, time-sensitive business questions into practical analysis, while also building statistically sound and financially informed models for forecasting, pipeline coverage, quota simulation, and related decisions. The position combines hands-on analysis, stakeholder leadership, technical review, and informal team guidance.
Responsibilities
- Translate loosely defined questions from senior stakeholders into clear analytical plans, often during live discussions. - Build and maintain models covering forecasting, pipeline coverage, quota simulation, forecast accuracy, and other commercial topics. - Deliver fast, directionally useful answers under pressure, then deepen the analysis when greater rigor is required. - Represent the analytics team with senior executives and challenge requests when the stated question does not address the underlying business problem. - Lead cross-functional analyses from scoping through delivery, including strategic account matching and end-of-period deal-pattern studies. - Review and unblock work from less experienced analysts, triage incoming requests, and coordinate with Finance so revenue and forecasting definitions remain consistent.
Requirements
- Strong experience in GTM, Sales, Revenue Operations, FP&A, quantitative finance, or a closely related analytical function. - Advanced SQL and practical experience with analytical data models and business intelligence workflows. - Ability to apply statistical techniques such as regression, confidence intervals, cohort analysis, and simulation modeling. - Financial modeling fluency, including the ability to connect commercial metrics with forecasting and planning logic. - Advanced Python for analysis, including tools such as pandas, NumPy, and statsmodels. - Excellent judgment, communication, and prioritization skills when working with senior stakeholders and ambiguous requests.
Nice to have
- Experience informally leading analysts or serving as a team lead. - Familiarity with dbt, Looker, Omni, Sigma, Hex, Salesforce, spreadsheet-based financial modeling, or AI assistants for analysis.
Benefits and work setup
- Full-time role based in Costa Rica. - The source describes employer-paid medical coverage, paid time off and leave programs, equity grants, professional development, wellness support, a phone stipend, and team activities; availability may vary by country and worker type.
