Role overview This producer role supports the cinematic pipeline on a high-profile narrative game, coordinating day-to-day delivery across internal disciplines and external development partners. The position is intended to grow into a central production pillar as the project advances toward its milestones.
Responsibilities - Run the day-to-day operations of assigned cinematic teams, preventing blockers in either direction across the pipeline - Identify risks early, work with the production lead to apply mitigations, and communicate changes across the team - Maintain clarity on deliverables and goals across all contributing disciplines, not just the immediate area - Disseminate feedback to the team using established processes while reducing randomness in execution - Handle daily project maintenance including bug triage, backlog refinement, and unblocking work - Coordinate milestone delivery with both internal teams and external development partners
Requirements - Approximately three years of games industry experience in a production or development role within an internal studio environment - Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies - Working knowledge of Jira or Shotgrid, with readiness to learn new production software and processes - Experience producing across multiple cinematic disciplines - A driven, collaborative approach with the ability to encourage teams through adversity - Clear communication skills across all seniority levels, from studio leadership to junior developers - Genuine enthusiasm for video games and cinema
Nice to have - Familiarity with video game cinematography concepts and terminology - Comfort surfacing and interpreting project data, including unflattering signals - A willingness to chase solutions beyond the immediate remit - Adaptability as project needs evolve, paired with a strong commitment to accountability and transparent communication
