About this role
Role overview A customer-facing Solutions Engineering role on a pre-sales team, acting as the primary solution lead for enterprise prospects in cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit markets. The position partners closely with Account Executives to run product demonstrations, convey value, and guide prospects through technical validation as part of a fast-moving enterprise sales motion. It is a highly visible role with significant influence on customer adoption and roadmap direction.
Responsibilities - Partner with Account Executives to understand prospect challenges and articulate the platform's value proposition, vision, and strategy. - Build credibility with technical champions and lead technical validations during the Proof of Value phase of the sales cycle. - Run structured discovery to surface customer needs, decision criteria, and key business issues, and turn them into persuasive product presentations. - Handle prospect questions and objections, escalating complex issues to Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Design as needed. - Feed product management insights from the field to influence roadmap decisions and share clear roadmap context with customers. - Develop internal content and training materials, and mentor teammates across the extended go-to-market organization.
Requirements - 3+ years of hands-on, customer-facing enterprise Solutions Engineering experience with a track record of persuading and influencing SaaS deals. - 2+ years of experience in risk advisory or assurance. - Comfort running product demonstrations for C-suite executives while maintaining composure and confidence. - Strong intrinsic motivation to exceed ambitious goals without being rattled by high stakes. - Executive presence with excellent speaking, presentation, and networking skills in complex business situations. - Working knowledge of at least one leading CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and a team-first, mission-driven mindset.
Nice to have - Industry knowledge of assurance and advisory services, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity or regulatory standards.
