About this role
Role overview A mid-level User Experience Researcher position embedded within an Experience Design team that supports a connected sports platform spanning commerce, collectibles, and gaming. The researcher will champion the voice of the customer across product, design, and engineering, driving user-centered decisions through a blend of evaluative and discovery work at scale.
Responsibilities - Support the senior manager of UX research in the daily operations of the research program. - Triage stakeholder research intake requests and convert them into structured, prioritized study plans. - Plan and execute evaluative research for new and existing features as well as discovery work for the future roadmap. - Run qualitative customer interviews and set up unmoderated usability tests, while also designing and analyzing quantitative surveys. - Collect and report longitudinal experience health metrics such as NPS and CSAT. - Synthesize insights from multiple primary and secondary sources and present them clearly to product, design, engineering, marketing, commercial, and leadership audiences. - Manage end-to-end research operations including participant recruiting, scheduling, tooling selection, and process documentation.
Requirements - 2–4 years of experience in UX research, usability testing, or a closely related field. - Foundational knowledge of user-centered design principles and mixed-methods research. - Familiarity with research tools such as unmoderated testing platforms, survey software, transcription apps, and basic video editing. - Practical experience integrating AI into research workflows, from planning through synthesis and reporting. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting findings to non-research stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent research projects in a fast-paced product environment.
Nice to have - Strong quantitative research and survey design skills, including data analysis. - Academic or professional background in human-computer interaction or UX design. - Experience working in an agile product development setting.
